The Dine & Wine Festival is South Tyrol's traditional highlight for gourmets and connoisseurs of fine cuisine. It is a celebration of international gourmet culture unlike any other event on earth. Once every year, the world's best chefs and winemakers – passionate representatives of their respective regions and exceptional masters of their craft – meet at Hotel Castel to spoil you with their exquisite compositions. Look forward to an extraordinary journey into the world of fine cuisine, and enjoy first-rate culinary pleasures.

Dine & Wine 2017

Under the slogan "Europe's variety on the plate" three cooks from three countries of Europe cookes at the 15th Dine & Wine Festival 2017 from the 2nd to the 6th November.

The Scandinavian cook Filip Langhoff  from the Restaurant ASK in Helsinki opened the festival. The young star cook convinces with his puristic dishes for which he primarily uses natural products of biodynamic farms.

With a great product infatuation and inexhaustible creativity, Dieter Koschina has managed to reach the top 50 cooks around the world. The 2-star cook lives and cooks in Portugal for more than 25 years and has helped the restaurant Vila Joya to gain worldwide recognition.

The third evening was traditionally under domestic auspices and so this year our 2-star cook Gerhard Wieser cooked the final gala dinner at the festivals. His great passion for cooking and his will, have made him one of the best in the entire Alpine region for years.

For the first time, the Dine & Wine Festival had a fourth evening. But unlike the three gala diners, we offered our guest a casual evening with flying buffet and a small kitchen party. A satisfying and joyful conclusion, directed by our chef.

Top wines from Italy, from Cerreto as well as from Portugal, Spain, France and South Tyrol from the Klosterkellerei Neustift, Manincor and the Ansitz Waldgries accompanied the delicacies of the master chefs. An interesting program completed the event.
