At the Castel, almost 60 dedicated employees support us every day in fulfilling the high expectations of our guests. Together, they invest around 400 hours a day to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience around the clock.

So that you can feel good

Always there for you

Early in the morning, breakfast cook Irmgard and some chambermaids, supported by the caretaker, ensure a good start to the day. While our friendly service staff look after you at breakfast, the first preparations for delicious lunch dishes and dinner in the evening begin in the kitchen.

When guests leave the Castel to explore the beautiful surroundings, the rooms are tidied up by our housekeeping team and the laundresses are also hard at work.

The caretakers are on hand to help and advise guests and staff, and the staff at reception are ready to answer any questions you may have - and have plenty of good tips for your stay.

Recharge your batteries in the spa with Daniel Ceska and the whole team, so that you can return relaxed and full of energy, for example on the lounge terrace - here the bar team serves coffee, cakes, cool drinks and small snacks in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, the menu for the next dinner is being written, for which sommelier Ivana Capraro selects the right wines.

In the evening, our chefs take over again, supported by Simon Oberhofer, Florian Prinoth and the service team, to serve you many delicacies in both restaurants.

To round off the evening, Fabian Reinhold invites you to a nightcap at the bar. And when everyone is asleep, night porter Elmar Gamper watches over the Castel and its guests.

70,000 hours for his guests

30 years as head chef Gerhard Wieser

Cooking is a vocation for him, to which he passionately devotes 10 to 11 hours of his day. As head chef at the Castel , he has spent over 70,000 hours cooking for his guests, creating new dishes, sometimes failing, doing things differently and ultimately finding the perfect flavour. After 30 years as a chef, one thing is clear: good food takes time. And when you multiply time with passion, great things are created.

To mark its 30th anniversary, the 2024 Dine & Wine Festival will always be dedicated to Gerhard Wieser. Friends and influential top chefs will be at the Castel cooker.
