5 + 1 = CASTEL | We are the best gourmet hotel in South Tyrol

For the fifth time in a row, the Connoisseur Circle and its readers have voted us the best gourmet hotel in South Tyrol. We are once again delighted to have received this award since 2021.

We were also honoured again just in time for the start of the season for our finedining gourmet restaurant: the Falstaff Hotel Guide 2025 named us the best gourmet hotel in South Tyrol and the Castel is also one of the top 5 hotels in South Tyrol. The award is based on the highest standards in areas such as cuisine, service, ambience and wellness.

A festive occasion in beautiful Vienna

On Monday 28 May, junior boss Daniel Dobitsch travelled to Vienna in person. The city alone is always worth a trip, but the expectation of an award made it even more enjoyable!

He accepted the coveted award in person from Falstaff publisher Wolfgang Rosam.

The festive event at the Park Hyatt was attended by many renowned chefs, winemakers and hoteliers. It was a wonderful afternoon, during which Dobitsch Junior was able to see many familiar faces again and also meet some new colleagues.

In the same category, star chef Andreas Caminada and his Schloss Schauenstein - awarded three Michelin stars - received the prize for Switzerland.
