August 2024 - a Castel story from the Dobitsch family
WORKING TIME
Time is a limited commodity. We can only realise our wishes and achieve our plans and goals if we set our priorities correctly. Anyone who puts their heart and soul into the hotel and catering industry needs time above all else. Because true perfection can only be found in the details.

Our time for your holiday happiness
Nowadays, real nine-to-five jobs can only be found in a few professional fields - and certainly not in a hotel. Hostess Evelyn Dobitsch also had to realise this. In 2001, on her 50th birthday, her lifelong dream came true: her husband gave her the Hotel Castel, which she had fallen in love with as a guest many years before.
She only gradually realised what life as a hotelier entails. But the passion for the role of hostess has always been in her blood, and so she kept her sights firmly set on her main goal: to give each guest individual attention and enable them to enjoy a perfect break at the Hotel Castel.
Family affair
For the joy of hosting
And then time suddenly becomes a relative concept. We've probably all experienced this at some point: when you put your heart and soul into something, time often flies by. With her hospitality, enthusiasm and attention to detail, Evelyn Dobitsch has turned the Hotel Castel into a place where casual luxury and the relaxed atmosphere of a family-run hotel harmonise perfectly.
And the Hotel Castel is without doubt a family business. With Daniel Dobitsch and his wife Maria, the second generation is already working tirelessly every day for the well-being of the guests. The major remodelling work, during which all the rooms, the restaurants, the reception and the spa were completely renovated a few years ago, was entirely in their hands. Together with Evelyn Dobitsch, they share the role of host equally, supported by Director Iris Pelizzoni. In her 14 years at the Castel , she has not only become an extension of the family, but also a close confidante.
